Author
Heidi Rickard is an indie singer/songwriter and recording artist with multiple electro-pop album releases, “I Need Your Bloom”, “Lost In The Woods”, and “Cathedral”. Her love for music, art, and writing has been strong since she was a child, being nurtured greatly by her creative family and in the churches they attended. As an adult she continued in that path and became the Lead Creative Director & Worship Leader at a church in Ann Arbor, Michigan, before launching out as a solo artist.
Her latest music project, “Peppermint Rendezvous”, is set to release the holiday season of 2023. The Christmas album includes traditional covers and her original holiday songs, among them being the song “Ice Cream From The Sky”, which shares an inspiration from one of her childhood experiences with her first children’s storybook.
Additionally, she is the founder of Spark Art Society, an organization for artists, musicians, writers, and creatives which offers events and workshops that inspire, encourage imagination, and teach various artforms. She has a passion to see people awakened to creativity and celebrated. She loves to travel, watch movies, and do just about anything artistic and creative. Her and her husband, Steve, have 2 grown children and live in Clinton Township, Michigan.
